Referral Partner Program

Participation guidelines

Version October 19, 2026

These guidelines describe the referral relationship and application process. Your separately presented written compensation terms specify the commercial details of an approved partnership.

Application, approval, and activation

Submitting an application does not create an approved partnership or a right to compensation. Our team reviews applications. An approved applicant must accept the written compensation terms shown on their private onboarding page before their referral code becomes active. Approval may be declined or a partnership suspended when participation is unsuitable or these guidelines are not followed.

Your role

You make introductions to owners who want to explore eligible services. You remain an independent referrer. Approval does not authorize you to bind Resort Owner Compass, collect owner payments, access ownership accounts, make reservations, sign service agreements, or represent yourself as our employee or as an authorized representative of a resort or vacation club.

Accurate introductions

Use accurate descriptions and any promotional wording supplied by our team. Do not promise rental eligibility, rental income, financial returns, resort approval, or a guaranteed outcome. Resort, club, HOA, exchange, and service rules control what an owner may do.

Disclose compensation clearly

Tell owners clearly when you may receive compensation for a referral. Place that disclosure with your recommendation or referral link. For example: “I’m a referral partner with Resort Owner Compass and may receive compensation if you enroll through my referral.” Review the FTC’s guidance on endorsements and affiliate disclosures when preparing your communications.

Owner permission and privacy

Prefer sharing your public link so the owner submits their own inquiry and contact permission. Obtain the owner’s permission before giving our team their contact details. Do not send passwords, account credentials, tax documents, payment details, or unrelated customer lists through the application or referral forms. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

Attribution and qualifying enrollments

Use your assigned public link or code. A link can save a first-party referral code for up to 30 days in the same browser; privacy controls may prevent storage. An owner can also enter a code directly. The first eligible saved owner inquiry with an accepted referral association keeps that association. Codes cannot overwrite another recorded partner’s attribution through the public form.

Self-referrals, repeated applications, duplicate owner contacts, and owners with earlier inquiries do not create automatic commission eligibility. Our team reviews disputed or incomplete attribution. Referral credit covers an initial eligible enrollment unless separately agreed in writing. Additional or recurring compensation requires separate written terms and payment arrangements.

Compensation and payment

Your accepted written compensation terms control the commission amount or formula, eligible services, payment timing, and treatment of cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks. A click, inquiry, application, or unsigned agreement alone does not earn a commission. The team reviews enrollment and confirmed customer payment before approving a commission. Commission records and payment statuses reflect team confirmations; payout arrangements are handled separately.

Questions and changes

Contact admin@resortownercompass.com with questions before you accept terms or publish a promotion. New compensation terms must be presented and accepted before a new terms revision activates your referral code. Existing records preserve the terms used when a proposed commission was created.
